Tucked into the hills of Sugar Creek, the property has long been a place where people came together for work, celebration and a good glass of wine.
Today, we are restoring that spirit with intention. The grounds are being thoughtfully revived as a setting for weddings, small events, stays and everyday moments worth slowing down for.
We care about history, craftsmanship and creating a space that feels warm, unforced and real.

The History of River Blvd
How it all started
Set along historic River Boulevard, Sugar Hollow stands where river landings once connected travelers to Independence and the great westward trails.
In the mid-1800s, the settlement of Gilpin Town grew as a hopeful gateway for merchants, wagon trains and settlers heading toward the Santa Fe and Oregon routes.
Though the town itself faded, the road endured, carrying the same spirit of gathering, trade and community that continues here today.
